About

Wildlife and Travel Photography have no limits for Professional Photographer Anette Mossbacher. Her love for the outdoors goes back to her childhood, developing a deep relationship with nature at a young age. Her father, gamekeeper, loved to explore the local forest and Anette joined him as often as possible. Anette created a strong relationship with the animals she encountered while in the woods with her father. She was able to study the language of the animals as well as their behavior in natural surroundings. When she was sixteen she received her first camera and from that moment on spent every holiday possible to make her dream, to become a professional photographer, come true. Time spent outdoors and communing with nature is a reward in it’s self.

Due to the expatriate nature of her husband’s career, Anette has lived in many different countries in the past 15 years. Seoul, Beijing and Kuala Lumpur just to name a few. She spent 12 of those 15 years living in Asia. Her experiences abroad brought great cultural awareness to her life. Her years in Asia also educated her about the Asian world and broadened her mind to new cultures, people and experiences.

Her obsession with wildlife photography began when she moved to South Africa. She traveled to The Kruger National Park and other wildlife sanctuaries every weekend to catch images of wild animals. She primarily shoots documentary style images representing the animals lives in their undisturbed, natural habitats.

Anette seeks to capture movement and action in such a way so that the viewer feels as if he were part of the scene. The composition of the picture combines the central subject and the background of the scenery. The animal is embraced by the beautiful landscape in the background.
